Get your business in the Christmas spirit

IT'S beginning to look a lot like Christmas thanks to local businesses jumping on board the Whitsunday Coast Chamber of Commerce Christmas lights competition.

Sponsoring the competition is Plants Whitsundays and manager, Matt Stokes, said the winning prize was "worth getting the Christmas decorations out for”. "The winner will receive two nights at Mirage Whitsundays and a $250 Plants Whitsunday voucher,” he said.

Mr Stokes said the competition was a win-win for anyone who entered.

"Even if you don't win, it's great exposure for your business because the more your business logo goes around Facebook, the better,” he said. "It's also a great benefit to the community as it increases Christmas spirit in the town.”

To enter, decorate your business front and upload a photo to the WCCC Facebook page. The photo with the most likes will be the winner. Entries close on Tuesday, December 20 and the winner will be announced on Thursday, December 22.
