
UPDATE: Girl, 14, found safe and well after going missing
UPDATE 1pm: THE 14-year-old girl reported missing from Glenwood since last night has been found safe and well.
The 14-year-old teenage girl was found at a Gympie address.
Police would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance.
The girl went missing at 7pm last night and had been travelling on foot south to Gympie.
EARLIER:
POLICE are searching for a teenage girl who went missing from a Glenwood home on Thursday night.
The 14-year-old left her Arbour Rd home about 7pm last night and has failed to return.
The girl is described as Caucasian, about 150cm tall, slim build with dyed blonde hair and last seen wearing a black hooded jumper, black leggings and thongs.
Police believe she may have been travelling on foot south to Gympie or north towards Maryborough.
