#GoBareboating has support of a TV star

IN AN unusual move among competitor businesses, members of the Whitsunday Bareboat Operators Association (WBOA) have come together to form a join marketing initiative under the banner of #GoBareboating.

#GoBareboating spokesperson Christophe Vanek spoke at last week's WMDL networking meeting, which #GoBareboating sponsored, saying the coming together of operators showed they were a professional entity and a force to be reckoned with.

"The reality is that the bareboating industry in the Whitsundays is the best bareboating industry in the world," he said.

"No one else in the world does it like us. The visitors are always impressed with the service and products we offer."

#GoBareboating has the support of Channel 7 producer and presenter for Great South East travel Show Chris Parsons, who is the brand ambassador.

"I want to tell as many people as possible what an incredible experience bareboating is, and how very achievable it is for people of all ages and abilities," Mr Parsons said.
