
Godwin Beach man charged after aircraft laser incident
A GODWIN Beach man has been charged after a laser was allegedly directed at an aircraft approaching Brisbane this morning.
Police were notified of the incident shortly after 5am. The aircraft landed safely.
Police also allege that a laser was shone at vehicles travelling in the Sandstone Point area about an hour earlier.
A 20-year-old man has been charged with two counts of endangering the safe use of a vehicle and is expected to appear at the Caboolture Magistrates Court on June 24.
