Great food with view
IF GREAT food in a friendly setting sounds up your alley, then look no further than the Whitsunday Sailing Club.
Open to the public, functions manager Sam Hayward is inviting the community to come on down.
"Anybody can come and enjoy a meal - everybody's welcome," she said.
Head chef Logan Ellis prides himself on providing only the best to the club's patrons.
"He tries to source fresh local produce wherever he can," Ms Hayward said.
"He changes the menu seasonally."
There's plenty to love on the menu as well, with pizza and trivia taking centre stage on Monday nights.
Come Tuesday its time for Mexican, with deconstructed tacos served on a house-made corn tortilla.
Wednesday is everyone's favourite - a buffet with a selection of roasts, vegies, crackling and gravy.
Thursday is the ideal night for families, as kids eat free and pasta sets your taste buds tingling.
"It's great value for money," Ms Hayward said.
You can get much more than just a great meal at the venue, with functions and weddings offered overlooking the beautiful Coral Sea from the Whitsunday Sailing Club lawn.
And all this at an affordable price.
