Hand up has beautician bounce back

ZANO'S Massage and Beauty, operating out of Glambox, was destroyed by last week's fire.

But a hand up from Hairwavz & Beauty Salon owner Karen Tydeman has Zano Thorpe about to return to work.

"It was horrific and my heart just broke for them," Ms Tydeman said.

"I had the room, so there was nothing in my mind other than just to reach out to them."

Ms Thorpe, who was away at the time of the fire, said the generosity had touched her heart.

"I feel so blessed," she said.

"This is such a beautiful community."

With nothing recoverable from the burnt store, Ms Thorpe has had to restock, but will soon be back open.

"Just things I can afford until it builds back up again," she said.

Follow Zano Massage & Beauty on Facebook to keep updated on her return, with bookings expected to be available in a few weeks.
