Hefty losses for Sea Eagles

AUSSIE RULES: Whitsunday's under-13s highlighted a weekend to forget for the Sea Eagles, winning a low-scoring game in Mackay last Saturday.

The under-13s triumphed over North Mackay Saints 16-2 at Zeolla Park, led by Callum McMurdo, Jayden Clark and Lachlan Draper.

The young Sea Eagles lead the competition with five wins from six starts.

In other results, the seniors suffered a 133-point loss to the Saints. A severely undermanned Sea Eagles took the field and fought admirably despite only 14 players being available. Whitsunday went down 143-10.

Both the under-15s and 17s also suffered big losses.
