Brisbane high-rise blaze causes building evacuation
1:45 PM:
A FIRE in the Brisbane CBD has been extinguished.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Service fire inspector Mark Welsh said it was believed an electrical fault sparked the blaze.
There are no reports of injuries.

1:00 PM: High-rise catches fire in Brisbane CBD
TEN fire trucks are at the scene of a fire in Brisbane's CBD.
The fire broke out on the 13th floor of the IBM building on Turbot Street.
Brisbane Times has captured video from the scene.

Edward St is closed between Turbot St and Wickham Tce while crews attend a building fire.
Police are asking people to avoid the area.

The ABC reports the building has been evacuated.
