Hillbilly Goats butt in

LOCAL music promoter and father of the Airlie Beach Festival of Music Gavin "Butto” Butlin is proud to announce that the Hillbilly Goats will be appearing in Proserpine for one night only.

Since appearing at the festival a month ago the Hillbilly Goats have been to Gympie, Toowoomba and played for passengers on-board a Royal Caribbean Cruise in the South Pacific before heading ashore to entertain crowds in Mooloolaba and the Leap.

Mr Butlin said a special bus would depart the Downunder Bar in Airlie Beach at 6.30pm tonight and return to the beach after the gig at 10.30pm.

He said "it's going to be great night”.

"They are such a unique band and what they do is just great,” he said.

The Hillbilly Goats have spent the last six years touring and have a real soft spot for the Whitsundays.

Bryce Wearne and Mahney Wearne together are the Hillbilly Goats and are guaranteed to deliver an outstanding show.

They have shared the stage with the likes of Kasey Chambers, Mental as Anything, Jon English, 10CC and James Reyne.
