Holden offering to loan cars in Cyclone affected Whitsundays

HAS your car been destroyed by Cyclone Debbie?

Holden Australia want to know because it's offering to loan eight brand new cars to people in the Whitsundays who have been left car-less by Cyclone Debbie.

Crossley Automotive Group's dealer principle Ben Hancock said all you needed to do was explain that you have lost your car and outline a little about your situation to Holden privately via their Facebook, Instagram or Twitter accounts.

"Then Holden will designate who they are going to give the cars to and the cars can be picked up through this business," he said.

"Or we can go and pick them up and do what we need to do to assist under the circumstances."

The Holden Facebook page asks interested drivers to "send us a direct message with your name, mobile number, location and requirements and we'll do our best to help".

The cars will be loaned for four weeks and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
