Hotel robbed at knifepoint

TWO men have allegedly robbed a licensed premises in Marooka with knives last night.

Police were called to the hotel on the corner of Beaudesert Road and Hanson Street around 11:20pm.

The men reportedly made demands for cash to which an employee has complied.

The two men then fled with a sum of money and were last seen on Beaudesert Road heading north.

No one was physically injured as a result of the robbery.

Investigations are continuing.
