Injured man cut free from car after nasty rollover crash
UPDATE, 2.20pm: A MAN has been cut free from his car and taken to hospital after a single vehicle rollover near Proserpine.
The crash at Conway Road, Conway involving a 22-year-old man was reported to Queensland Ambulance Service just before 9.20am this morning, a spokesman said.
When paramedics arrived, they discovered a single car had crashed and rolled, trapping its driver inside.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Service personnel cut the man from the car and he was taken to Proserpine Hospital in a stable condition suffering a knee injury.
No one else was injured in the Conway crash, which followed a two-car nose-to-tail collision on the Bruce Highway 10km north of Proserpine early Saturday morning.
INITIAL: PARAMEDICS are dashing to a reported vehicle rollover involving a trapped passenger near Proserpine.
Queensland Ambulance Service personnel were still en-route to the Conway Road, Conway crash at 9.20am this morning, a spokesman said.
Meanwhile, paramedics also attended a two-vehicle crash on the Bruce Highway 10km north of Proserpine this morning.
It occurred about 6.55am and involved two cars in a nose-to-tail incident.
A woman, of an unknown age, was taken in a stable condition to Proserpine Hospital with muscular injuries, the spokesman said.
Three other occupants were assessed at the scene of the crash, but did require treatment.
