It’s an Original Sundays show
THE latest instalment of Original Sundays is set to rock Airlie Beach once again this Sunday at Magnums Hotel with another stellar line-up.
Presented by the Airlie Beach Festival of Music and Magnums Hotel, music fans will be treated to five acts in five hours starting from 1pm and running through to 6pm.
Dylan Hammond, Daniel Miller, Kieran McCarthy, Cactus and Lloyd Saunders will round out the line-up.
Loop master Dylan Hammond, also the bassist for Sun Salute, kicks off the show with his multi-instrumentalist style, looping beats, harmonies and funky basslines.
Daniel Miller makes his first appearance, coming all the way from Yeppoon especially for this gig but having played many cover gigs in Airlie Beach over the years. He is very excited about busting out his originals.
Miller has a massive voice and a vocal range that will blow music fans away.
Whitsunday legend Kieran McCarthy will also be back, much to the delight of music fans, with his original brand of Australiana bush versus beach music.
Whitsunday rockers Cactus make their first appearance since last year's Airlie Beach Festival of Music in what is also their first Original Sundays gig.
Cactus vocalist Margie Murphy said the band would definitely be getting the crowd rocking in the afternoon with a few rock anthems along with originals.
Mackay musician Lloyd Saunders returns for his second headline appearance, with his smooth-flowing melodies and warm stage presence, to play what he describes as one of his favourite gigs.
Music fans will have the chance to win tickets to the Airlie Beach Festival of Music and earlybird three-day passes will also be available for $220. Event co-ordinator Andrew Pattinson said music fans were in for a treat with such a talented line-up.
