Jarratt's big back-flip

HOW'S the recent form of Labor's Member for Whitsunday Jan Jarratt?

After vigorously promoting a main street 'land swap' in Airlie Beach alongside Labor mate Mike Brunker in the run-up to Christmas, Ms Jarratt has caved in under huge public pressure.

Now, she reckons there'll be no land swap - just a straight out resumption.

Her sudden New Year's back-flip was so spectacular, some observers may suggest Ms Jarratt should be called up to Australia's gymnastics team ahead of the London Olympics.

After all, she was all over the land swap like a cheap suit.
