Jessica Alba’s new baby name bucks trend

HOLLYWOOD actress Jessica Alba has added another child to her brood, after giving birth to a baby boy.

Alba made the announcement on her Instagram, where she posted a beautiful photo of her new son, Hayes Alba Warren.

In the caption, she wrote: Hayes Alba Warren 12/31/17 Best gift to ring in the New Year! Cash and I feel so blessed. Haven and Honor are already obsessed with their new baby bro. #familyof5"

According to BabyCenter.com the name for a boy means "from the hedged place". The couple's choice of name appeared to be completely opposite to baby name trends for 2018, which are expected to be more gender neutral.

The Honest Company co-founder and her husband Cash Warren have two daughters, Haven Garner, 6, and Honor Marie, 9.

Warren also posted a photograph of him holding Hayes with a message that said:

"Hayes Alba Warren: You sure know how to ring in the new year!

"You showed up a few days early but we couldn't be any happier. Y

"our Mamma is the strongest woman I know ... you're so lucky to have her by your side.

"You have two amazing sisters who already adore you and I know you'll be thankful to have them guide the way.

"On your first day of life, I promise to love you, to cherish you, and to provide you with a sandbox full of dreams to explore. Welcome to the family my sweet baby Hayes! 12/31/2017"

Alba announced that she was pregnant with her third child in July, telling her Instagram followers in a short clip of her and her two daughters with balloons.

She wrote: "[Cash Warren] and I are officially going to be outnumbered."
