Jetski stolen from marina

A BLACK and silver Honda F15 three seater jetski was stolen from Whitsunday Jetski Tours pontoon at Abell Point Marina between Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning.

Whitsunday Jetski Tours owner Steve Ward said it was a rare jetski and would be easily identifiable.

"The jetski was padlocked to the Whitsunday Jetski Tours pontoon and the cable had been cut to show some pre-mediation in the theft," he said.

"As a community we should not tolerate this kind of behaviour."

Mr Ward said this was the first time Whitsunday Jetski Tours had any issues with theft or vandalism at the marina.

Police and Abell Point Marina management are currently reviewing CCTV footage.

The owners of Whitsunday Jetski Tours are offering a $1000 reward for information that leads to a conviction.

The Honda F15 jetski has the registration number 30283Q and a Hull ID #HPSJ0270J809.

If you have any information please contact Whitsunday Police on 4948 8888.
