Jubilee Pocket water interuption not expected to continue

WHITSUNDAY Regional Council has apologised for any inconvenience caused by an interruption to tap water in the Jubilee Pocket area this morning.

Residents took to social media this morning blaming the interruption on a burst pipe although council has not confirmed this as the cause.

A council spokesperson said the household water failure was caused by an "unplanned interruption".

Water supply was restored by 8.30 this morning. No further interruptions are planned.
