Kangaroos gearing up for the unknown against Scotland

RUGBY LEAGUE: The Kangaroos are slowly but steadily acclimatising to English conditions ahead of their opening Four Nations clash with Scotland on Saturday morning (5am AEST).

Currently based in Manchester, Australia will play the Bravehearts in Hull in the first of six pool matches.

"We had a bit of a blow-out in the cardio room and did a bit of weights. We had a couple of days off but now we're starting the preparations for Scotland,” centre Josh Dugan told nrl.com.au.

"I think the weather may be a bit of a factor but we are going to prepare as best we can and go out there and do everyone at home proud.”

North Queensland pair Lachlan Coote and Kane Linnett and former Gold Coast prop Luke Douglas are expected to line up for Scotland.

"We're looking to win all our games and make that final, and it all starts with Scotland,” Dugan said.

"It's a bit of an unknown, we don't really know what to expect, but I'm really looking forward to the game and getting another Test cap.”
