THE Whitsunday Kyokushin Karate Club is full of colour after hosting its first grading of the year earlier this month.

Seventy-four students completed testing on Saturday, May 3 - with all participants performing excellently to successfully pass their grading.

Many students put in extra hours of work - according to Cannonvale Club coach Belinda Woodham - practising technical work in the lead up to the important grading.
