Kim’s journey continues on The Voice

FORMER Maclean High student Kim Sheehy is further down the road to success on Channel 9 show "The Voice".

Kim succesfully made it through the first battle round to remain on Team Delta, singing the Elton John classic "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road".

She battled against fellow piano player Maxon, who made it onto Team Delta in the blind auditions by singing Delta Goodrem's hit "Wings" - and was joined onstage by Delta in the audition.

Kim, who previously auditioned with her brother Chris in season two of the The Voice, made it onto Team Delta this year singing Sara Bareilles "She Used to Be Mine"

Kim was watched in the studio audience by mum Trish and sister Melanie and will progress through to the next stage of the competition.

Kim attended school at Maclean High School, and is now a music teacher at Emmaus College in Jimboomba, Brisbane.
