Description of armed robbers produced by police

UPDATE: Police have released a description of two men involved in an armed robbery at a Fraser Coast service station attacked in the early hours of Friday. 

The men are described as both being of slim build, wearing light brown coloured trousers and hooded sweatshirts with scarves covering their faces. 

The armed man was also wearing gloves.

A male shop assistant handed over a sum of cash after one of the men produced a knife before the men fled from the store.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

EARLIER: POLICE are investigating an armed robbery at a service station on the Fraser Coast. 

Police say two men entered the service station on the Bruce highway at Tiaro, one armed with a knife.

The men demanded cash from staff.

A police media spokesman said the men then fled in a vehicle.

Police are continuing to investigate the robbery which happened at 1.50am on Friday.
