Laser tag, discos and more at PCYC

PCYC Whitsunday and Rotary Club of Airlie Beach invite all the children in the region to come a long to a jam-packed day of non-stop fun and entertainment this Saturday.

The event is in support of Child Protection Week in Queensland and will run from 10am to 2pm.

The day will include laser skirmish, inflatable toys, mini daylight disco and an adrenaline maze.

PCYC Whitsunday branch support officer Jo Pillifeant encourages all children to attend.

"This day is all about creating an environment where children feel safe and can have lots of fun," she said.

PCYC Whitsunday was fortunate enough to receive a grant from the Child Protection Week Committee to hold our event for Child Protection Week.

"We are holding this event to help raise much needed awareness of the importance of Child Protection in the Whitsunday Community and we thank the Child Protection Week Committee for the opportunity," Ms Pillifeant said.

The event is open to all children and their parents and carers.

Children under the age of 14 are required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The canteen will be open for purchases.

Laser skirmish will be supplied by Mobile Laser Skirmish North Queensland.
