Lawyer: Man in 'I'm with stupid' shirt did not deserve arrest
THE lawyer of a parody Campbell Newman Twitter account operator Iain Fogerty - who was arrested while wearing an 'I'm With Stupid' T-shirt at a political rally - says the arrest is unjustified.
In an email to Fairfax Media, Peter Shields Lawyers principal Peter Shields said he didn't believe the arrest for public nuisance was appropriate or justified in the circumstances.

Police arrested the man behind the popular @Can_Do_Campbell Twitter account shortly after 8.30am Thursday on Brunswick St, Fortitude Valley, where supporters of LNP Member for Brisbane Central Robert Cavallucci and Labor candidate Grace Grace were campaigning.
He was later charged with public nuisance.
"There was a guy who was being disruptive, pushing people around and stuff like that," a Queensland Police Service spokesman said.
