Proserpine High School teacher Anton Zafir is set to take on Germany's James "Moon Walker" Moontasri this morning at UFC 193 in Melbourne.

The Whitsunday Martial Arts Club coach successfully made weight yesterday morning at Etihad Stadium and is now ready to take on the biggest fight of his life after just eight days' preparation.

Zafir, 28, is the second fight on the action-packed card, which includes UFC star Ronda Rousey.
