YOU can't miss Shane Jacob when he's out and about.

And you can't miss which team he'll be supporting in tonight's State of Origin opener either.

The Moore Park resident has completely decked out his maroon Ford Falcon Futura with Queensland paraphernalia.

"I'm just a big Maroons fan," he said yesterday.

Originally from Logan, Mr Jacob has been following the team since the inception of State of Origin.

Ever the diligent fan, he even sought permission from the Queensland Rugby League before pimping his ride.

While he's lost count of how many player autographs adorn the vehicle now - between 20 and 30, says friend Kate Danset - he is sure of one thing.

"They're all legends on here - there's no Blues on here - they're all Maroons," he said.

Some of the players who have signed the car include Darren Lockyer, Wally Lewis, Gordon Tallis, Allan Langer, Ben Ikin, Scott Prince and Mick Hancock.
