I AM writing this letter in the hope that it appeals to the decency of the person or persons who have my mother's ring.
On Friday night 6th July, my daughter attended a cancer fundraiser at the Proserpine Entertainment Centre. Sadly the ring my mother gave her, fell to the ground and rolled away.
Within 5 minutes the ring had been picked up but not handed into the reception desk.
The lovely people at the centre put an announcement over the PA to no avail. They have also checked the whole centre as well as all the rubbish bins. My mother passed away 2 years ago, and this ring holds significant sentimental value to both my daughter and myself.
I am pleading with the holder of this ring to please please please hand it back to the Entertainment Centre. I'm not saying they stole it but perhaps just forgot to hand it in.
