Lotto bounty of $50 million waiting to be claimed

AN INCREDIBLE Lotto bounty of $50 million is waiting to be collected by a player in New South Wales, after they scored the state's biggest ever cash prize.

A single entry has taken the entire amount, bought in the Orana region surrounding Dubbo in the central north of NSW.

As of late yesterday, the millionaire-in-waiting was yet to collect.

NSW Lotteries spokeswoman Belinda McDougall said the lucky punter may be still relaxing on holiday, unaware of their astounding windfall.

The buyer was not registered with NSW Lotteries so they have no way of contacting the winner.

Ms McDougall urged anyone who bought a ticket in the state's Central North, perhaps while on holiday, to make contact or go to the NSW Lotteries website.
