Lure opens its doors to community
LURE, a new state-of-the-art, multi-functional waterfront facility is welcoming the local community to an open day on Sunday, April 17, from noon to 3pm.
The magnificent Compass Bar will be open and complimentary canapés will be served to visiting guests upon arrival.
Nestled in the heart of the Abell Point Marina Village, Lure is an entertainment playground encompassing world-class food, captivating views in a natural environment and high quality service, enabling up to 300 guests to celebrate special occasions, weddings, community events, corporate gatherings, launches, gala dinners, business meetings and conferences.
Themed in a contemporary nautical style using natural elements of wood, glass and stone, it mirrors the sea and the rock walls of the marina, evoking dreams of rich sailing history of mariners' past.
Attention to detail is evident from the American Oak ship lapped timbers on the walls to the bold feature lighting and the stunning ceiling reminiscent of an upturned boat.
Visitors are greeted by a hand painted mariner's compass pointing true North, leading to function rooms fitted with cutting-edge audio visual equipment and wireless microphones and dazzling heracleum lights, representing the sparkling stars which have guided mariners for centuries - all a snapshot of your guest's alluring experience.
The Lure Abell Point Marina open day will enable community members to experience first-hand the captivating views from the balcony overlooking the tropical Whitsunday islands, the fine food and service guests will experience, - captured with memories created from the Lure photo booth.
The best pictures from the day will be rewarded.
