Snake bites man at Brandy Creek

A MAN in his 50s has been taken to hospital after he was bitten by a snake.

Paramedics attended a private property in Brandy Creek about 12.30pm today.

A Queensland Ambulance Services spokesman said paramedics treated a man in his 50s who was bitten by a snake.

The man was taken to Proserpine Hospital in a stable condition.

It was unknown where the man was bitten.
