Man missing from Hervey Bay marina since November 17

POLICE are calling for public help to find Eero Tiitinen who was last seen at Hervey Bay Marina on November 17.

Mr Tiitinen, 67, had told family he was going to sail to Inskip Point before staying overnight before heading to Moreton Island.

Mr Tittinen is an experienced sailor and usually contacts family and friends but has not contacted anyone since.

Police have been unable to locate the man's boat at any marinas or points along the route.

Mr Tiitinen had previously been a regular at the Hervey Bay Boat Club.

He is described as Caucasian, about 185cm tall, solid build, with short grey hair and a beard.

His boat is a 8.2m Herreschoff yacht with a white hull and blue mast named Colombo 7.
