Man plunges 8m from Surfers Paradise building

A YOUNG man is recovering in hospital after falling in Surfers Paradise.

Paramedics were called to Cavill Avenue about 7.15pm on Sunday.

It's understood the man in his 20s fell approximately 8m.

It is not clear where he fell from.

He was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

Police did not attend the incident.
