Mass casualties in Lebanon

FIVE people have been killed and 28 wounded in two waves of suicide attacks on a Lebanese border town.

Suicide bombers attacked the small town of Qaa in morning and afternoon attacks, according to Al Jazeera.

Four suicide bombers blew themselves up on Monday morning, killing five people and wounding 15, before two men on a motorbike threw grenades at mourners and then detonated suicide vests in the afternoon, wounding a further 13 people.

Qaa is a predominantly Christian village in Lebanon's north-east. No one had claimed responsibility for the attacks yesterday.
