THREE Whitsunday tourism businesses came home with awards from the Queensland Tourism Awards evening in Brisbane on Friday night.

Tourism Whitsundays Chief Executive Officer Peter O'Reilly said winning a Tourism Award at state level was a major achievement for any business.

“I am very proud of the Whitsundays businesses who went through the rigorous process of submitting an entry in the Queensland Tourism Awards and who then went on to be awarded the best in the state in their category, or up there as one of the best in the state,” Mr O'Reilly said.

“A winner or finalist placing in the Queensland Tourism Awards is highly regarded in the industry, and these businesses have demonstrated they are committed to customer service, innovation, product and staff development, and support for the tourism industry.”

FANTASEA

Fantasea Adventure Cruising is a long established marine tour and transport operator. Queensland owned and operated, Fantasea is part of the marine transport group, Riverside Marine.
