Menzies to stay a Dragon

STEVE Menzies is like a fine win - he keeps on improving with age.

The 38-year-old former Manly Sea Eagles star has ended any speculation about his future by signing a new contract to stay in France with Catalans Dragons for the 2013 English Super League season, his 21st as a professional.

The second rower became Super League's oldest ever player earlier this year and the new contract will still see him playing not far from his 40th birthday.

Menzies is the most prolific try-scoring forward in NRL history with 180 tries in 349 appearances and has already scored 43 tries in 91 Super League appearances, including 22 in 40 for the Dragons.
