Milestone year for horse riding show

PROSERPINE Hack and Pony Club held its 15th annual North Queensland Royal Equestrian Show at the club's grounds on Sunday.

Whitsunday Regional Council's mayor Jennifer Whitney was on hand to open the day and congratulate the club on achieving the significant milestone.

The show has grown in popularity through the years and provides an opportunity for youngsters to gain experience in the ring and boost their confidence when competing at agricultural shows.
