Moranbah mauls Sea Eagles

AUSSIE RULES

SENIORS

MORANBAH made the most of their home ground advantage in their 24.18-162-7.4-46 win over the Whitsunday Sea Eagles on Saturday. A dynamite first quarter from the home side saw them get a 57-8 quarter time lead and thiscontinued in front of their home fans at the Stevenson Sports Park.

Timothy Plummer and Matt Laskey kicked two goals each for the Eagles who now sit in fifth-place just outside the last finals spot.

RESERVES

The Eastern Swans reserves ran roughshod over a depleted Whitsunday Sea Eagles in their 21.17-143-2.0-12 win on Saturday.

It was always going to be a tough task for the Sea Eagles against the undefeated Swans and there were few highlights for the visitors in the 131-point loss.

Both teams are away to the Mackay City Hawks at Harrup Park on Saturday with the reserves kicking off at 1pm and the seniors at 2.45pm.
