More than 800 cannabis plants discovered at Chambers Flat

LOGAN detectives are investigating following the discovery of a significant hydroponic cannabis crop set up in Chambers Flat yesterday.

Police declared a crime scene at the Holloway Road residence yesterday where officers located a large purpose-built shed with five cannabis 'grow rooms' inside.

More than 800 cannabis plants, varying in maturity have been seized, along with a four-wheel-drive vehicle located at the scene.

The crime scene was guarded overnight.

Police are currently in the process of dismantling the set-up with other government agencies.

Investigations are continuing.
