More basketball players needed

AFTER some interruptions through ANZAC Day and the State of Origin series, social basketball players in the Whitsundays are calling out for more players to turn up to the PCYC on Wednesday nights.

The program started off slowly but had built to around 15 players every week before numbers started to drop off last month.

Starting at 6.30pm every Wednesday night, social basketball costs $5 for PCYC members and $10 for non-members, with anyone welcome to come along to shoot a few hoops in a fun and friendly environment.

Anyone interested in playing social basketball on Wednesday nights should phone the PCYC on 4948 2777 or show up on the night.
