Mountain bike club to host open day

UPDATE: This event has been postponed until March 12.

THE Whitsunday Mountain Bike Club and the Big4 Airlie Cove Resort and Caravan Park welcome everyone to join them at Airlie Cove in Jubilee Pocket on Sunday for the WMTBC open day and official trail opening of new mountain bike specific trails.

Kicking off at 3pm, this is a perfect opportunity for the community to see the new trails and learn about mountain biking in the Whitsundays.

Attendees can sign up for a free two-month trial before heading out on the trails with a guide from the club.

The trails are rated blue, according to the International Mountain Biking Association standards, perfect for children around the age of 10 and older, along with experienced adults.
