
Mt Coolum shut down for second rescue in 24 hours
BREAKING: A rescue helicopter has been called to Mt Coolum this morning for a patient suffering a medical incident.
Queensland Ambulance Service officers arrived at the scene to treat the patient, who is believed to be male.
It is the second incident on the mountain in 24 hours.

The patient was to be transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

Initial reports indicate Queensland Police officers have closed the popular track the scene is cleared.
