Mum’s plan to let her triplets cut their ties

INSEPARABLE Caloundra triplets are about to be separated.

Lisa Billing has arranged for her five-year-old triplets Connor, Noah and Xavier to be in separate classes so they can spend some time apart.

"They are just inseparable," Ms Billing said.

"If I take one shopping they just want to get back to the other two.

"If one is sick and the other two are at pre-school, he just wants me to pick his brothers up and if one is hurt the other two will cry."

She knows the triplets are going to be close but she thinks it's important they learn to be apart.

"I want them to learn to make new friends and learn on their own," she said.

"They don't have to play together all the time

because they tend to do that now. They're stuck like glue.

"If one of them is not there they sort of fret."

Connor, Noah and Xavier have been getting schooled by older siblings Aidan, 13 and Lilly, 10, on what to

expect at Meridan State College when they begin class on Tuesday.

Ms Billings has been getting them into a routine so there isn't much of a shock when school begins.

"I've actually just started to put them to bed at 7.30pm to get them ready for that," she said.

"They all sleep in the same bed, so they've got to be in there at 7.30pm.

"But they've been going to pre-school, so it's not that different but they're looking forward to it."
