Muslim prayer leader charged over beach attacks on women
A MUSLIM prayer leader has been charged over the alleged attacks of three women on Sydney's northern beaches this week.
The 59-year-old Egyptian national, who is in Australia on a working visa, was arrested late Wednesday and charged with three counts of indecent assault.
Police allege he approached two 16-year-old girls and a 57-year-old woman over a period of three days at Dee Why.
He was given bail and will appear in the North Sydney Local Court on August 5.
