New estate coming to life

WORK is underway on the golf driving range at the Regatta Waters estate on the outskirts of Cannonvale and the first two holes of the estate's 18 hole golf course are now complete.

Developer Latitude Development Group (LDG) has also completed the first two of several man-made lakes.

Regatta Waters Whitsundays project manager Richard Fries said prospective buyers could now see the end vision for the community with the first pieces of vital infrastructure completed.

"People can now see the community in its physical form rather than relying on a sales brochure and we believe this will galvanise buyers into action."

The 2500-lot sub division on Cannonvale Road is in the first stages of its 15-20 year construction timeline.

The community's golf course is only the second professionally designed course in the region and the community will feature a village hub with tavern, bar, pro shop, restaurant and café.
