Notorious pedophile charged yet again
CONVICTED serial pedophile Kevin James Scott is back behind bars.
The elderly man stands accused of violating the Child Protection Act while on parole, just mere months after he was released from jail for the same offence.
Scott was previously charged for breaching his parole conditions at Dorrigo in May last year, and after pleading guilty he was imprisoned for a maximum of 12 months.
He was released in September after serving four months.
The man, aged in his mid-70s, had caused an uproar among Dorrigo residents when it was discovered he had begun residing in the small country town, home to a population of just over a thousand.
Frustrated residents appeared on national television after it was discovered Scott was living in close proximity to a local school.

At the time, Scott had just been released following two years of imprisonment over the 2016 indecent assault of a young teenage boy at a public toilet block in Coffs Harbour.
Scott had cornered the 14-year-old boy in the cubicle situated at Saltwater Park.
The notorious toilet block has since been demolished by Coffs Harbour City Council as part of an overhaul of the site.
It has been replaced with a highly visible structure that is fitted with a wireless monitoring system and is specifically designed to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour.
The council are working to construct a kayak-launching ramp, a playground and new pathways in a bid to create a safe and family-friendly space.
With a reputation marred by Scott's crime, the previous toilet block was also anecdotally known for being a 'cruising' area and was listed online as a space where men could meet to engage in sexual activity.
Scott appeared at Waverly Courthouse via video link last week for sentencing, but the case has been adjourned until June.
Scott remains in custody in the meantime as he had made no application for bail.
