Online meeting turns dangerous

A MAN is recovering in hospital after being pinned to his bed, gagged and robbed at gun-point after meeting a stranger online.

The 25-year-old was attacked by a man he invited to his Surry Hills home following a conversation on a mobile phone chat site late Tuesday night.

When the victim ran to the front door for help a second man attacked him.

He was pinned to the bed by one man as the other threatened him with a gun and stole property from the home.

When the intruders fled the man called for help and was taken to St Vincent's Hospital.

Investigations are continuing.
