Parents invited to tour WCC
PARENTS with children heading into prep next year can catch a glimpse of what Whitsunday Christian College has to offer.
On May 17 the college will host a prep information tour for parents to view the school and its facilities.
Head of Primary Melissa Wales said this was an important opportunity for parents.
"Parents will get to see what the school offers and hear what our goals and aims for the school are as well as where we'd like to be," she said.
The tour will start at 9am in the school hall, followed by an opportunity to spend some time in the prep classrooms, a tour of the prep area and wider school, a presentation on the facilities and a look at the programs offered.
A Q&A session will also be held with the principal, Head of Primary and Miss Elmarie.
Ms Wales said students eligible for prep in 2017 must be born between July 1, 2011 and Jun 30, 2012.
"Any students born in July 2012 can apply but acceptance is at the discretion of the principal," she said.
No registration is required and all parents are welcome.
