PCYC volunteers now life members

PCYC life memberships have been awarded to Gloria and Mario Demartini, Peter Chengody and Bob Bogie for their dedication to the not-for-profit organisation.

The four committee members were presented with the award at a committee meeting earlier this month after volunteering their time and skills at a variety of events including fight nights, discos, barbecues, gift wrapping and sporting events.

PCYC branch manager Sergeant John Dickinson said without the volunteers he would not be able to do his job.

"We need people who are dedicated to working in the community because it helps us run smoother programs," he said.

"PCYC see the value of volunteers and want to recognise the effort and support they give." For more information about becoming a member of the PCYC phone 4948 1144.
