Bubba battles Choi and Yang

SOUTH Korean duo YE Yang and JW Choi hold a share of the lead with American Bubba Watson midway through the second round of the Australian PGA Championships at Coolum.

Yang, the 2009 US PGA Championship winner and Presidents Cup player, carded a second round score of four-under-par 68 to move to seven-under par, alongside Choi and Watson, who are among the afternoon players to have just started their second rounds.

Overnight leader Steven Bowditch carded a disappointing second round score of one-over par to drift back to five-under par and a tie for 10th.

Stuart Appleby was among the movers in the morning, picking up four shots to be six-under par. Jason Day is also looming at six-under par.
