Playground plans continue

TWO Whitsunday mums are one step closer to realising their vision for a new adventure playground in the local area. Kellie Chart and Lisa Christofersen took their playground concept to Whitsunday Regional Council and have now received a favourable response.

Ms Chart said council had asked for costings. "So now we'll be speaking to some contractors to see if our ideas are viable. We've got grand plans," she said.

Lisa Christofersen, (of Logans Run), said she was very excited to be involved.

"I'm looking forward to applying myself to the project for all the children (in the area) and in special memory of Logan," she said.
