Man threatened with gun, forced into car at Bundamba

Detectives have charged a 30-year-old following the alleged kidnapping of a man at Bundamba on Saturday night.

It will be alleged shortly after 9.30pm three men, who are known to the other man, attended a house in Nelson St.

The men allegedly threatened the man with a firearm and he was forced to accompany them in a vehicle.

The man was transported in the vehicle before been released at Brassall.

A 40-year-old man received medical treatment for bruising and lacerations.

A Redbank Plains man has been charged with one count each of kidnapping, robbery, assault occasioning bodily harm and possess by night instrument of house breaking.

He is expected to appear at the Ipswich Magistrates Court today.

Investigations are continuing.
